Please note that Evermore is working toward expanding its kitchen. The cafe is also expected to open sometime in 2020, per this conversation in the Evermore Facebook Group.
During Lore 2019, there are four concession stands in the park. There are two main ones in the town square, along with the Shanty shack near the Mill and the Hex Trove near the Burrows. The two in town square serve different snacks. When you walk in, savories are on the left and sweets are on the right.
Barter’s West offers mostly savory snacks. The new Lore 2019 menus include include:
Soup in a bread bowl is delicious! The soups are served on a rotating basis and include tomato bisque, steak and ale chowder and broccoli cheese. The tomato bisque is gluten-free and vegetarian. All three are delicious! The bread bowl is $10, or you can just get a bowl for $6.95 or a cup for $3.95.
Goblin goulash is macaroni and cheese, topped with chili, onions, cheese and sour cream. It’s $8.
French Fries are served three ways. You can buy plain fries,Truffle Fries or Parmesan & Herb Fries for $4 each.
Poutine (fries topped with gravy and cheese curds) is $6 and it’s a park favorite. Pulled pork can be added for an extra $2. This is what the poutine looks like:
Guinness bratwurst with sauerkraut is $8 and an all-beef hot dog is $5.
You can also buy hummus. The sabra cup includes pretzels for $4.
Fountain drinks are $2.50 for a small and $3.50 for a large. Their offerings include Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Dr. Pepper, Diet Dr. Pepper, Sprite and Orange Fanta.
Barter’s West offers mostly sweet snacks. In Lore 2019, their offerings include:
Ice cream is always a favorite! You can choose between one or two scoops in bowls, cones or sundaes for varying prices.
The specialty sundaes are delicious. The churro sundae includes two warm churros, a scoop of ice creaming and a topping. The Inspektor includes a warm brown buttercake, two scoops vanilla ice cream, warm apple compote, and caramel sauce. The Ever-Smore Sundae is gluten free and includes warm chocolate lava cake, a scoop of vanilla, a scoop of chocolate, hot fudge, marshmallow sauce and graham crackers.
Churros are absolutely delicious! They are $5 and SO worth it. For $6.50, you can get a churro sundae.
You can also get a gluten-free chocolate lava divine cake.
I love the hot chocolate ($3) on the cold nights of Lore. It’s a great way to warm up your hands. You can also buy coffee $2.50.
The Shanty Shack
The Shanty Shack is located near the Nettleton Mill. Its offerings are very simple but it’s one of my favorite stops!
It offers a delicious teriyaki chicken bowl for $8 and a gumbo rice bowl for $10. This is a photo of the teriyaki bowl:
The Hex Trove
The Hex Trove is located in the back of the park, near the Burrows. It’s my favorite place because it has BUTTER BREW! =D
Bryggi’s Butter Brew is a must-try in the park. It’s $4 and worth every penny.
Buttered popcorn is $2.
Root beer floats did not have a listed price on opening night, but I would assume it’s the same as the Orange Dream Float. Those are $5.50.
Fresh-pressed Orange Juice is $5.
