Does anyone else just LOVE The Scholars? Cornelius and Frank and Aurelius are so funny and fun to talk to. My guess is, the Wolves of Winter and the Frost Lords and Ginley and all the other things that are taking our attention this season are a distraction from the real goings on with these mid-dimensional beings.

Yes, they are funny but I don’t trust them! They are up to something.
-
They’re definitely up to something but I do think they’re funny. I also think it’s funny that the townsfolk are 100 percent Done with their antics at this point. Drake summed it up well: “they’re…a lot.”
-
It is hilarious asking Evermorians what they think of them. Their answers are always so hesitant and vague

I know! I kinda just wanna help the scholars troll the townsfolk. Actually, I sort of did, I helped Aurelius get in the trial jury lottery for the trial. At this point, I don’t trust any of the Evermorians, I might as well have fun with the fun ones.
-
Why don’t you trust anyone?

The interplay between the serious Hunters and the absurdist Scholars is fantastic.
The Hunters reaction the other week, when the Scholars made it clear that Frank had turned himself into the fog that was permeating the town to better observe everything all at once, was priceless.
Earlier in the season when the Scholars got hold of a gun from Jasper was pure comedy gold.

Did you hear Frank describe how he spent his fog time — investigating connections between people?
-
I heard him mention it briefly, so he was trying to understand relationships? I think he has been told that he went too far, so has promised not to turn in to fog again, and only interact with people in his human form from now on.

Alright, let’s be pro active. What do we know about the Scolars?
-
Well, they are from a dimension in between realms, which is also a university of some sort, or there is a university there, I’m not sure. They have no natural corporeal form, but they took them on to come to Evermore. They are also extremely old, the youngest is Frank who is getting his Master’s thesis in human (romantic) relationships, but is hesitant to learn about them firsthand (methinks thou doth protest too much, Frank), and I get the impression Cornelius is some sort of faculty advisor. Both Frank and Aurelius have been “lost in the woods” by themselves which seems somewhat suspicious to me.

The Scholars died both to experience death and return to their original form. Did they mention if they intend to return someday? Or are they simply moving on to other things?
-
I hope they come back!
